Social Media Round Up Oct. 3

If you haven’t found it yet, Learning at the Heart has a members-only Facebook page and it’s free!  You simply need to find the page and request access.  Posts to the Facebook page are more frequent than updates to this site.  Some of them make it to other social media outlets like Twitter (and soon Instagram) as well.

In case you’ve missed the social media options, here is a round up of what has been shared recently:

The 7 Steps to Become an Effective Coach, authored by Diane Sweeney and posted by Corwin Connect

NESA International Literacy Coaching Cohort registration flier (Only 4 spots left!)

An article by CEESA Literacy Coach Cohort alum Courtney Hughes titled, “Deepening Transdisciplinary Learning Through Conceptual Connections:  A Single-Subject Approach to Exhibition” and published on the The SharingPYP Blog.

Optimistic October calendar published by Action for Happiness for daily ideas to keep inspiration and optimism part of your life

Contributions to the #leadupchat on Sept. 29 where the topic was “Perseverance for Success”

My favorite quote of the week comes from Steven Carney, President of Learning Forward, Washington:

“What we know today doesn’t make yesterday wrong,

it makes tomorrow better.”

Enjoy these resources!

Always learning,

Shannon
