Dr. Bonnie Campbell Hill was an inspiring educator and one of the best “connectors” of people I know. Each year at this time, she bestowed all who worked with her with a very precious gift: A bibliography of all of the best books she had read in the prior year. Her list was typically pages long, highlighting the newest professional literature in the worlds of language and learning as well as great novels and reads from around the globe. I aspire to read as voraciously as Bonnie did. I don’t have a pages-long, year long list to share with you. But, I do have all of the recommendations members of the Learning at the Heart facebook page shared last June, compiled as the Member Bookshelf, June 2019. Inspired by Bonnie and . by this community, I will ask members to again share what’s on their bookshelf (as we educators head into the holiday break) and make these Curated Collections a semi-annual tradition. Happy Reading, friends!
Don’t forget, you can become member of a community of educational leaders and coaches by requesting to join the Learning at the Heart closed Facebook page.
